Photographs of National Parks

At the moment this portfolio contains photos from the Yorkshire Dales National Park and The Lake District.
The Yorkshire Dales National Park was dedicated in 1954 and lies to the north of Sheffield. The characteristic scenery of upland pastures scattered with hillside barns and dry stone walls, feels different to the Peak District. My trips so far have been to the limestone pavements and waterfalls and this area will merit more visits in the future.
The Lakes were made into a National Park in 1951 and it is the largest National Park in England and Wales. Formed by glacial actions there are some wonderful lakes and mountain views to ponder, climb and enjoy.
